This privacy policy applies to the StoryUp - Drama Shows app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by StoryUp - Drama Shows Developer (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

The Application stores diary entries, quiz progress, achievements, recent searches, AI consent, and visible AI chat history locally on the device. The Application does not require accounts, subscriptions, in-app purchases, Firebase, analytics SDKs, or social features.

The Application uses The Movie Database (TMDB) APIs to load movie and TV metadata such as titles, posters, summaries, ratings, and search results. TMDB requests do not require user authentication from the Application.

AI Chat is optional and blocked until you explicitly agree in the Application. After consent, the Application sends message text, chat_id, and a fixed system_prompt to OpenRouter Chat proxy, a third-party AI chat service hosted on Railway at freeopenrouterchat-production.up.railway.app.

The purpose of this sharing is only to generate movie/TV chat responses and recommendations. The OpenRouter Chat proxy acts as a third-party service provider/processor for this feature and is expected to protect submitted data under the same or equivalent confidentiality and security commitments described in this Privacy Policy.

The AI chat backend may retain conversation continuity server-side using chat_id so the conversation can continue across messages. You can revoke AI chat data sharing in Settings. Revocation resets the local chat session, clears local visible chat messages, removes the local chat_id, and blocks future AI Chat requests until you agree again.

The Application may disclose information as required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to trusted service providers working on behalf of the Service Provider under appropriate confidentiality and security commitments.

You can stop local data collection by uninstalling the Application. You can disable AI chat data sharing in Settings at any time.

Local diary, quiz, achievement, recent search, consent, and visible chat data remain on your device unless you delete or reset them in the Application or uninstall the Application. For AI Chat, server-side conversation continuity may be retained by the AI chat service using chat_id.

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and uses reasonable safeguards for information processed and maintained by the Application.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-06-05

By using the Application, you consent to the processing described in this Privacy Policy. AI Chat requires separate explicit consent before any AI chat network request.
